Our Mission

At Botany Weaving, we expect our employees, and members of our Board of Directors to live up to the highest standard of business ethics and integrity. We are committed to ensuring we are doing the right thing in all interactions, acting with integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality and professional behaviour. We expect everyone at BotanyWeaving to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries where we conduct business.

The Code of Conduct is intended to emphasiseour commitment to ethical behaviour and compliance with the law, establish basic standards of legaland ethical behaviour, increase our sensitivity to legal and ethical issues.Adherence to this Code of Conduct is a condition of employment at BotanyWeaving.

This Code of Conduct provides guidelines forresponsible corporate action by Botany Weavingand its subsidiaries indealings with customers and suppliers.

We believe that our reputation is dependent on the quality of our products and the way in whichwe conduct business. Therefore, every employee,member of the Board of Directors and all third parties acting on our behalf areobliged to comply with this Code of Conduct.

Our Commitment to our Employees, Society and Stakeholders

Human Rights

At Botany Weaving, we believe in the fundamental respect for human rights of all stakeholders and local communities in which the Company conducts business. We are committed to conducting our business activities in compliance with human rights laws globally and adhering to the basic human rights principles outlined in the United Nations Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

We are committed to ensuring there are no infringements of human rights and workers are all treated with dignity and promote fair employment practices.Botany Weaving respect the following human rights:

  • equality of rights and prohibition of harassment, bullying and discrimination.
  • protection of privacy.
  • the right to freedom of opinion and free expression of opinions.
  • the right of employees to health and safety at the workplace
  • prevention of any involvement in all forms of modern slavery, including human trafficking, forced, bonded, or indentured labour.
Working Conditions

Botany Weaving undertakes to respect social standards at its production facilities. To that end, we comply with the core working standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), in particular:

  • prohibition of forced labour.
  • prohibition of child labour.
  • compliance with local working and rest time regulations; the maximum weekly working time should not exceed 48 hours (excluding overtime). Overtime must be compensated.
  • fair and competitive wages.
  • payment of a wage which is appropriate to the activity and place of employment with identical pay for identical work.
  • compliance with local regulations on occupational safety and health protection.
  • respect for the right of assembly and collective bargaining.
Speak up Culture

Our reputation and our success depend on each of us having the courage to speak up when we encounter situations that either are or may be perceived as unethical and/or violate the law, this Code of Conduct or our policies.

We support our Speak up Culture by requiring employees to:

  • report violations of the law, this Code of Conduct our any of our policies.
  • ask questions and seek advice when they are unsure of what to do in a situation.
  • prohibit retaliation against those who raise concerns.
Environmental Protection

Botany Weaving respect the environment in their daily activities. We are aware that as a weaving company our manufacturing requirements and processes can impact on global and local environments.Therefore, encompassed within our manufacturing is a commitment to finding ways of continually reducing our environmental footprint, by developing more sustainable ways of doing business and in the way we manufacture our products.

We are focused on waste reduction,recycling/re-use and efficient use of natural resources. We take economicallyviable measures to achieve a satisfactory level of protection. We continuously optimise the useof energy or

make sure that the consumption of these resources is kept as low aspossible in the

long-term and where possible we use renewable energy resources. In conjunction with our yarn dyer suppliers, we optimise the use of water and safeguard the responsible use and handling of chemicals.

We comply with all applicable environmentalregulations. We monitor and review existing and emerging regulations to ensure we comply.

Health and Safety Protection

Botany Weaving respects the health and safety of all its employees and visitors to our offices or manufacturing sites. We have established a Health and Safety Policy aimed at protecting the health, safety and welfare of our employees and visitors to our facilities. We safeguard the responsible handling of chemicals. Safety information relating to any hazardous materials is available to educate, train and protest workers from hazards.

Product Safety

Botany Weaving ensures that our products are manufactured to airworthiness standards and ensure all our products meet the applicable regulatory requirements.

The safety of the product we manufacture is critical. Employees are aware of their duty to ensure product safety and report potential safety issues.

All product batches are tested to ensure compliance with aviation standards.

Global Trade and Export Control

Botany Weaving ensures that we operate in accordance with all applicable laws, directives and regulations governing the import and export of goods.

We ensure responsible sourcing of our productsand raw materials.

We carry out incoming inspection to eliminate risk of counterfeit parts.

Our Expectations of our Employees

Each employee has an essential role in contributing to the success of Botany Weaving and is accountable for their behaviour and performance.

Each employee must be familiar with the Code of Conduct, our policies, all applicable laws and regulations that relate to their job responsibilities.

Employees must be sensitive to and avoid situations that could lead us or those around us, to engage in improper conduct and act against improper behaviour by reporting such improprieties immediately if encountered.

Conflicts of Interest

We expect our employees to avoid conflicts of interest. Conflicts of interest exists when your personal interest, relationship or activity could interfere with your loyalty to Botany Weaving or your ability to perform your work for Botany Weaving objectively and effectively.

Privacy

As we collect and maintain the personal data of our employees, customers, suppliers, and others we do business with we must comply with data privacy laws and regulations.

Information Technology and Security

We must be vigilant to protect the security of our electronic information systems. We must exercise appropriate precautions is accessing computer systems and in transmitting information, messages, or data to others.

Electronic communication and media may not be used in any manner that would be discriminatory, harassing, obscene or for any other purpose that is illegal or against company policy.

The security of Botany Weaving electronic information and systems, including cybersecurity, is our collective responsibility. Any suspected cybersecurity threats or incidents must be reported to IT.

Intellectual Property

All information, technology and other intellectual property developed by employees at Botany Weaving, during our relationship with the Company, belong to Botany Weaving.

All property must remain with Botany Weaving following termination of employment.

We must follow all applicable laws governing intellectual property.

Record Retention

We expect our employees to always comply with applicable records management policies, standards and guidelines.

As traceability is of paramount importance within our line of business, records must be retained and stored appropriately through their life cycle.

All records must accurately represent the event or transaction being documented.

Employees must follow the record controls applicable to their area of work.

Regardless of the employee’s position in the Company, everyone involved in the development, production, inspection, test and despatch of our product has a responsibility to ensure our products meet the expectations of our customers.

We ensure the implementation of continuous improvement into our quality system.

Our aim is to deliver quality product on time and provide a superior service to our customers.

We build, promote and drive our capability to sustain a robust total quality culture.

Botany Weaving believe in conducting business in a fair and transparent manner and are committed to carrying out our business with the highest ethical value. We reject corruption of all kinds, including extortion and bribery.

We will engage in fair and open competition in compliance with the applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

We endeavour to continuously improve transparency within our procurement chain and ensure appropriate communication of their business practices to the outside world.

Our Commitment to Compliance with Laws, Regulations and Company Policies

Botany Weaving requires all employees and members of the Board of Directors to comply with the laws and legal provisions of the countries in which they do business.

It is expected to use good judgement and common sense in seeking to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and encourage all employees to ask for advise when they are uncertain about them.
